Q: What are these eyelash extensions I keep hearing about?
A:  Check out the Xtreme Lashes Eyelash Extensions page, for rates, FAQ's and a gallery of photos!

Q: I have makeup allergies/sensitivities.  Can you use my makeup on me?

A:  Absolutely.  If you have a particular sensitivity and have found the product that works best for you, by all means, bring it to me and I'll use it.  However, I cannot guarantee the unique ultra-long lasting quality of my makeup applications unless I use the products in my kit.  My makeup kit and practices are ALWAYS held to the very highest sanitation standards.

Q:  What kind of makeup do you use?
A:  I use Temptu airbrush foundations and blushes, and various other premium quality cosmetics such as MAC, Smashbox, MakeUpForever, and Amazing Cosmetics
.

Q: Do you offer "regular" makeup as well as airbrush makeup?
A:  I can hand-apply makeup if you prefer for me not to use the airbrush.  However, my rates are the same regardless of method.

Q: Do you offer a "partial face" or "eyes only" rate?
A:  Partial face rates (eyes only, lips & cheeks only, or airbrush foundation only) can be negotiated, please mention your interest in this option when contacting me.

Q:  Do you have a minimum requirement for wedding bookings?
A:  For Friday or Saturday weddings, I require a minimum of 3 people booked (bride + 2).  For MOST Sunday weddings, I do not require a minimum number of people.   For Sundays falling on a holiday weekend (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) please refer to Friday/Saturday requirements.

Q: How soon should I book you for wedding makeup?

A: At least a month, no more than 1 year in advance.  If your wedding is during a popular wedding month, (May-Jul; Sep-Nov) consider submitting a deposit ($60) now, and scheduling your trial run closer to your wedding date.  (Please be advised that all deposits are non-refundable.)

Q: Where does the trial run take place?

A: Trial run appointments are conducted at my home studio, conveniently located in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago, near Halsted and 31st.

Q: How long does the trial run take?

A: Typically an hour and a half to two hours, including detailed consultation and full makeup application.

Q:  When are you available for trial run appointments?

A:  Currently, I have Tuesday and Sunday availability only.

Q: What is the best day of the week/time of day to schedule a trial run?

A: In my opinion, the best time is a weekend morning, so that you can wear the makeup for  an extended period of time and get a sense of how it will hold up on your big day.  Lots of my past clients have scheduled their trial run appointments on the same day as another wedding event, like their bridal shower, engagement photo session, or bachlorette party.

Q: What should I bring to my trial run appointment?

A:  Just yourself, (with a freshly washed, makeup-free face if at all possible) and a trusted friend or family member if you wish!  Photographs of your dress, accessories, bridesmaid dresses, reception decor, wedding colors, and flowers are always helpful.  If you come across any photos of makeup looks that interest you, bring those along as well.
